QD Stands For Quantum Dot And Quiet Display

The Asus ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM is a flat QD-OLED display 31.5″ in size with a 3,840 x 2,160 which supports DisplayHDR True Black 400.   It can hit up to a 240Hz refresh rate and offers a wide gamut of connectivity including two HDMI 2.1, a single DisplayPort 1.4. three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, and finally a USB 3.2 Gen Type-C with up to 90W of power delivery.   There are also two things the PG32UCDM does not have, ASUS did not add speakers to the monitor and there is no fan, it is all passively cooled.

The Guru of 3D liked just about everything about this display with the exception of the glossy coating on the display, which may turn some readers off.  The colour gamut is impressive and the brightness uniformity is very good, which is significantly more important than the coating.   Check out the full review.

"The Asus PG32UCDM is Asus's step into the world of QD-OLED monitors, offering a 32-inch screen with 4K resolution that's very popular among gamers. This model stands out with a high refresh rate of 240Hz, and it uses a third-generation 32" QD-OLED panel from Samsung.
