For Those Who Can’t Spend Less Than $2000 On A Headset

If you laugh at the $200 in ear monitors which are so popular right now and can’t stand the sound of closed back headsets that cost a mere $500 then you are probably familiar with Dan Clark Audio.   The new E3 closed back headphones are, at least for this company, in the middle of their product line; they have significantly more expensive models for those who desire the best.

The materials are certainly interesting, with aluminium complemented with Gorilla Glass chassis, a nickel-titanium alloy headband with leather suspension band, and ear pads made of synthetic leather ear and suede.  They are replaceable, but TechPowerUp strongly suggests you leave them alone as the way they are attached is a key part of your sound experience.

Check out their full review if you are tempted by the Dan Clark Audio E3 headset, or if you are just curious how the other half lives.

Dan Clark Audio follows up on the flagship closed-back STEALTH with the more affordable but equally impressive E3. It uses a new generation planar magnetic driver coupled with a novel dual-mode bass port and custom acoustic metamaterials implementation to put out an accurate, balanced, and fun sound for a reasonable price.
