The PC Perspective team is joining up with Extra Life this holiday season to raise funds in support of our local children's hospitals, and we want you to join us!

For those unfamliar, Extra Life is a gaming-focused fundraising event in support of Children's Miracle Network hospitals throughout the US and Canada. Participants set a fundraising goal which culminates in a 24-hour gaming marathon, with all proceeds going to support the treatments and care of millions of hospitalized kids each year.

So before the year comes to a close, head on over to our Extra Life team page and make a tax-deductible donation to help us reach our goal of $10,000. Making a donation in someone else's name can also be a great holiday gift, and allows you to avoid the retail store rush for those last-minute shopping trips! And unlike George Costanza, you'll actually be supporting an amazing and worthwhile cause!

We don't yet have a date scheduled for the 24-hour gaming marathon, but we'll let you know as soon as we have that locked down. And, on that same topic, please leave a comment or send us a tweet with some game recommendations that you'd like to see us play during the marathon.
