The MSI G274QPF-QD, 1440p Quantum Dot Display
Almost As Long A Name As An Acer Display
The MSI G274QPF-QD is a 27″ 2560×1440 IPS display with G-SYNC compatibility and Freesync premium offers a refresh rate that can range from 48 to 170Hz and HDR400. The advertised colour gamuts are 93% Adobe RGB, 95% DCI-P3, 150% sRGB which a quantum dot display is quite capable of and will be handy for content creators/ The 170Hz refresh rate is also fairly impressive, though faster ones exist that seems a reasonable goal to aim for.
The s HDMI ports are less than optimal, they are HDMI 2.0b and thus top out at 144 Hz so make sure to use the DisplayPort or USB-C ports to get the most out the G274QPF-QD. At $330 it is in the middle of the price range for a display of this class and offers enough features to add it to your list of possible monitors. Check out TweakTown for the full review.
The product name might be a mouthful of letters, but the MSI G274QPF-QD is one of the most impressive and affordable 1440p gaming monitors available.
