USB-C And HDMI 2.1 Included

The Corsair Xeneon 27QHD240 is a different class of USB-C display than the Monoprice 28″ CrystalPro 4K, with a 2560×1440 OLED display capable of up to 240 Hz, supporting both G-SYNC and Freesync.  It usually retails for $1000 but is currently $100 off on Amazon.  At that price point you definitely get a small joystick to control the OSD and soon Corsair’s iCUE software will also let you control it.  That OSD is quite comprehensive and includes Image Retention Refresh to rejuvenate your pixels and the ability to disable Orbit Refresh if for some reason you don’t like that feature, which extends the longevity of your screen.

The colour gamut is quite impressive for those that need or simply prefer accuracy, the uniformity of brightness is certainly good and the contrast is amazing, with the dark zones offering perfect darkness.  HDR fans are going to be a little disappointed, however the peak of 240 nits is to be expected for an OLED.  If you are shopping for an impressive OLED with enough juice left over on it’s USB-C connection to power a decent laptop the Corsair Xeneon 27QHD240 review at Guru3D is worth checking out.

The Xeneon 27QHD240 includes a USB-C input delivering 65 watts of power. It also features two HDMI 2.1 ports, offering authentic HDMI 2.1 support, an attribute not explicitly mentioned in Corsair's specs. Additionally, the monitor is powered by a robust 180-watt power adapter, a significant capacity compared to the screen's stated power consumption of <35 watts.
