Two Fans Help Make The Scythe Fuma 3 Cool

A Compact Tower Cooler For Most Cases

It is a fact that over the years processors have become hotter, which means CPU coolers have gotten larger.  Not every case can handle a kilo of metal standing almost 170mm tall.  The Scythe Fuma 3 still weighs over a kilogram but stands a more modest 154mm tall.  It is a dual tower design with two Scythe Kaze Flex II 120 Slim PWM fans to push air through the heatsink.

The performance on both AMD and Intel was decent, not top of the charts but certainly capable of taming a reasonable amount of heat.  The noise pressure was a little higher than expected from the low RPM fans but topped out at 51dBa.  The two really nice features of the Fuma 3 are the complete and utter lack of RGBs and the $55 price tag.

See how it stacks up to the competition at TechPowerUp.

The Scythe Fuma 3 stands out as a compact dual-tower cooler, boasting solid performance with a max height of only 154 mm granting it better compatibility with smaller or older cases. The Fuma 3 shines for mid-tier builds where extreme air coolers or all-in-one liquid coolers don't make sense.
