Enermax Launches World’s Smallest ATX 3.1 Power Supply – the REVOLUTION D.F. 12
When you need an ultra-compact PSU, but SFX isn’t an option
The latest power supply series from Enermax is the REVOLUTION D.F. 12, which the company claims is “the world’s smallest ATX 3.1 power supply”. This claim is based on current data from the Intel PSU Selector, and of course they are just talking about the ATX form-factor, and not including SFX.
The new PSUs, available in both black and all white (including the cables and connectors), have a depth of just 122 mm.
No, the PSU above is not an SFX model.
“This design maximizes space for airflow within PC cases while delivering robust power in line with the ATX 3.1 specifications, including up to a 235% power excursion. Equipped with a 600W 12V-2×6 cable, the REVOLUTION D.F. 12 ensures uncompromised performance for high-end graphics cards and cutting-edge AI computing. The REVOLUTION D.F. 12 also fits seamlessly into micro ATX cases, providing ample room for efficient cable management.”
These REVOLUTION D.F. 12 power supplies feature 115 mm dual-ball bearing fans, with a self-cleaning function (“Enermax’s patented Dust-free Rotation (D.F.R.) technology”), that spins the fan in the opposite direction to help clear dust accumulation when you activate the feature (via a switch on the PSU). A semi-fanless design, these PSUs operate in a fanless mode when they are below a 50% load.
The PSUs are available in 750 and 850 watt configurations in black, and an 850W white version. You can read more about these new power supplies from Enermax at the source link.
