Epic New Stompybot Fun, Mechwarrior 5 Approaches
There Seems To Be A Sale Or Three Going On As Well
If you are willing to connect to the Epic store, you will be able to play Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries on December 10th, otherwise you will have about a year to wait as Epic continues to offer a year of exclusivity on many of the games released on their platforms. Rock, Paper, SHOTGUN had a sneak peek and posted some of their impressions here. You will get a fair sized map in which to roam with your band of mercenaries, larger than the original BattleTech map by all accounts. The game will not focus on a story as much as some, instead you have freedom to roam around signing contracts and trying to keep your finances in the black.
As has become tradition, Steam has fired off a barrage of sales as have Epic, GoG, Humble, Origin and … well, the seemingly infinite number of game clients currently on the market.
There are less than three weeks left ’til Father Battlemech’s big steel arse comes down the chimney, kids. A mere two decades after Mechwarrior 4 left off, Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries arrives next month.
