Worthy Of The Name Xtreme Waterforce

Modders-Inc recently gave the Gigabyte Aorus Xtreme Waterforce Z390 board a proper testing, to see if the integrated watercooling is worth the $550 price tag.  In order to see what this board could do, they hooked up an XSPC D5 Photon 270 reservoir and pump combo and a 360 x 60 mm EK radiator in a push-pull configuration, with EK Vadar Fans to provide airflow.  The i9-9900K on this board would happily reach and maintain 5.2GHz at 66°C on the AIDA64 CPU Stability Test and while it did approach 90°C during the FPU test it maintained 5.0GHz without backing off.

There is more to this board than just the thermals, check out the various extras like the 32-bit, 192KHz ESS Sabre reference DAC, TI Burr-Brown Audio OP Amps for headphones, and of course a little RGB Fusion 2.0.
