MSI GeForce RTX 4090 SUPRIM X 24G

Huge, Hefty And Overclocked

As The FPS Review points out, the MSI GeForce RTX 4090 SUPRIM X 24G is one of the very few of these cards that can run at a Boost of 2625MHz while using air cooling.  The TORX 5.0 cooling not only managed to handle that, when The FPS review manually overclocked it and managed to squeeze an extra 155MHz out of the SUPRIM X 24G the fans held steady at 36 to 39%.  At that level of RPM the card is essentially silent.

The bad news is the power draw, which tops 400W on the board and the price, which is $1700.  You will get better performance than a Radeon RX 7900 XTX across the board, however since you can grab that card for just under $1000 you are making the choice between a GPU or a GPU plus an entire system.   If you have the money, and are looking forward to ray tracing and ultra graphics at 4K, then the MSI GeForce RTX 4090 SUPRIM X 24G is the card for you.  The choice is yours.

The overclocks increase exponentially as you ascend the product stack with the SUPRIM X having the highest factory overclock supplied by MSI. Also, the MSI GeForce RTX 4090 SUPRIM X is in rarified air as one of only a few air-cooled RTX 4090s with a Boost clock of 2625MHz right out of the box.
